At the risk of posting this weeks dumb question , are Turbo wings different. I stood with a Lux owner and we both looked and scratched our heads and neither of us could see any difference , am I a bit blind ?


I ask as I do need one new front wing as I'm not happy with various old repair work on it. No rush but I'd like to do it as a good one comes along.

I am very happy with my 16" Cup ones though , I wondered if they wouldn't look any good being 16" but by my mind they look good and drive well so I'm happy. I Just need to refinish them when I'm ready.

Turbo wings are different from a Lux. The front is different where the respective bumpers bolt on. What side of wing do you need?

Turbo wings are straight where they meet the bumper, lux ones kick up. I was told that some mod Lux wings with a dolly & 'ammer because Lux wings are cheaper & more available & often in better nick.

I think the S2 has he same front end as a turbo so you could add these to your list for a set of wings.

yes s2 and turbo and cab front ends r all the same. rest of the 944s r same shape, just were the bumper meet at the sides, turbo r cut silghtly more stright cas the not shaped 2 d bumper of n/a 944
