In the bin ! they don't suit the car IMO unless it is a track day project. |

ROY924GT wrote: what is the best location for mounting bonnet pins on a late 944 turbo ??? Hi ROY ![]() I have pins on my 928... Mounting depends on two things... 1, the type of pin ?? 2, the landing panel ..picture ?? But basically its the mounting of the base you have to worry about not the bonnet location... The base MUST mount on a level surface, preferably a fairly strong one AND you MUST BE ABLE TO REACH underneath WHERE they mount to do up the giant nut thats UNDER the base mount, with a large spanner... When it comes to drilling the bonnet to match where the main pins come up do it carefully and preferably use a stepped hole cutter to gradually increase in size... Hope this helps ![]() All the best Brett ![]() |

Make up a stainless bracket and attach it to the chassis leg nose and mount the bonnet pins there. Talking to people like that when you have a couple of posts isnt going to endear you to the forum Roy. |
