Time for new tyres on my 944s, currently doing about 18k per year. After good value but don't want to lose handling any suggestions?

Falken FK452 or Khumos. Mine runs Goodyear GSD3 F1s but not sure they are available now & they are relatively cheap.

Ive got the Falkens on the back of my turbo.

Paid just over £100 each for them and quite impressed. Not used them for very long, but have used them in dry and in soaking wet.
Car felt well planted.

KU 31's are suposed to be good. Buy a set & tell me if they are! Was going to give them a try but nobodys yet been brave enough. Falkens the safe option. Highly regarded budget tyres. Couldn't get any myself as they were sold out with no new stock for 3 months. Running Avons ZZ3's which aren't that spiecal. Except that they last.

The Avons on my Alfa when I had it were lethal, the Goodyear's were a light & day improvement.

I need to do more miles in my car. But after 100 miles, I can definately say that the KU31s are better than P6000s (albeit quite worn items). Sidewall is a little stiff, (stiffer than Toyo T1-Rs), but not as stiff as some (P6000s or Bridgestone RE050s). Wet weather seems to be fine on the front too.

I'll report my readings moreso later on as the miles pile on.

Got to say I like the Bridgstones I have on mine now. I've used them on a few previous cars and the seem to be very good in the wet and dry and last a fair length of time. They are pricey though.
