I dont usually post links to e bay cars but we all know sadly how gas guzzlers have plummeted in value so its nice to see strong bidding on this rare classic.
Will it sell , ? I wouldnt want to be selling it if it were mine.

I.D = 180436166362

I imagine it would grace a club display stand very nicely.

Cheers Mas

It has been advertised before.
Did not reach its reserve and did not sell.
I remember looking at it as possible replacement for my own car.

For me the really strong point is that is LPG too.
According to the Dutch 928 club it should do the equivilent of 30 mpg without performance loss.

I think the bit about it having a pasenger airbag is 'cock'.

See the difference.
The passenger airbag can be clearly seen on mine and glovebox is in the carpeted bit under the dash.
The RHD car has a big glovebox and NO AURBAG!

+1 re the airbag
Though I wont be buying a 928 that doesnt stop me being a great admirer of them as a classic. He obviously wants a few bob for it and thats why it hasnt sold , same old pre crunch price thing blah , but I havnt seen many of that model and think attracting bids of 8 or 9 grand is actually quite an achievement these days :P

I didnt even realise your car was a 'hooker' Hopefully I'll see your car in the flesh one day m8ee shame you live in the frozen North :bigsmurf:

At the start of 2000 I bought my car direct from the Porsche Werks One factory sales.
It was a Porsche owned company car. Once I agreed to buy it was 6 months being rebuilt before I could collect it.
It should have been 4 but I had been warned before I got it. 'They take the cars for a 1000km drive and measure the oil very carefully', Werner Csambor told me, 'if the oil consumption is outside brand new Porsche specs it would be fitted with a full new engine at the same price'. '85% of GTS models we sell are and in that case it would take 6 months before it was ready'.

So I got mine with 96700 km (60000 miles) on the clock with a brand new engine and two sets of Cup 2 wheels.
It has now nearly 100000 miles on the clock but engine has only done 40000.
