An 87 should/may have dim-dip hence why the headlights rise. You can change the interconnect unit to stop this. If you do a search here then we did discuss it a while back.

I thought all 944 post 86 had side lights in the headlights! Maybe I'm wrong...................... again. :oops:

Nope late 86-early 88 have dim-dip earlier & later have sidelights in the bumper lights.

i did this to mine, looks a lot better, but remember the ignition needs to be on for headlights to come on
