Does it tend to work in other peoples 944s? Mine doesnt and I have tried taking the motor apart. When I reconnected it the thing did 'rotate' so the motor itself seems fine. I suppose it is likely to be the switch whihc has failed but is there a way of 'shorting' the connections on the back of the switch to identify if it is indeed the switch to blame? Cheers! |

Pop the switch out, there aren't many terminals on the back of it. If you have a test light or multi meter you should be able to find out if there is power to the switch and coming out of it. |
