Chilling out today doing some minor bits cleaning etc on the car & dreading sorting out the lack of radio reception, its terrible and I assume I'll need to fit an aftermarket ariel ?

Anyway , the Stereo is an old 90's Sony face off cassette with CD changer facility , not bad for its day , my missus used to deal in the very model so new what it was.

I Looked in the boot & couldnt even see space for a CD changer let alone a wiring loom then .... I lifted a little panel under the carpet and there she was a 10 disc Sony CD changer. Stacked 10 Cd's in fired it up and it even works what a result.

80's music here we come !

It will need to upgrade , after paying for wheels , then exhaustetc blah blah ker-ching out of cash.

Maybe from the sunroof?

Sunroof drains & seals. Also adjustment of the sunroof so it closes down snug on the inner seal. Mines leaking a bit too!

If a sunroof car then clear all the drains with a piece of electrical cable or similar. Check the removable panel seal & smear some vaseline or similar on the sunroof seal itself.
Check the hatch seal & that the drains on the latches are OK & check the drain on the filler. Also check the flat panelunder the bonnet where the heater motor is that the drains at each side are clear.

I found a clean patch on mine today. No idea how that got there.
