Help!
I need to know my interior code but it doesn't seem to be there!
Both the service book and the ticket in the boot just have LM3A/LM3A on them where it says exterior/interior code.
Now this is India red (aka Guards) and yes its a red car but I need to be precise about the interior code before I buy new seats.
I'm sure it will be 8WC but it doesn't says so anywhere I can see.
Thoughts?

Why do you need the interior code: you arent buying new seats surely? Even then yioud buy by part number, rather than using Porsches internal build code.

I just want to check that the car the seats are coming from has the same interior code as mine so they match. They look the same, linen leather, but I want to be a bit nore certian than that!

Both cars are 944T from 1990 and both red with linen leather.
Now they should be the same....

It will be. The usual confusion comes about (where two 'Linens' are different) where one set of seats is actually Grey-Beige. GB originated in the series one 944s and it was carried over to the series two cars (along with split black and GB oval dashboards) and it was replaced by Linen for either the 1988 or the 1989 model year. The confusion comes about when people refer to all creamy coloured trim out of a series two 944 as 'linen', unaware that earlier cars were trimmed in a different, although vaguely similar, colour.
