Post subject:  Will these wheels fit my 1986 944 turbo?

Any help with these please?

They are OE Porsche so stamped up with a 928 part code. they look far too skinny to fit a 944 turbo to me, although the retro rider in me wants to band them. I wouldn't like to be running 140mph in Germany on banded wheels though :(

Even if the offsets are ok you'll be 2" narrow at the back and half an inch at the front.
Not entirely sure what this will do to the traction but I'm guessing the wider wheels were there for a reason.
On the other hand useful when it snows!

Theyll need spacers if you have a 1986 built/registered 2987 model year car (13mm) If its a 1986 model year car then youll need 42mm hubcentric spacers, whichll cost strong money.

Theyll easily fit onto a 924S though: needing 13mm spacers all around...
