Post subject:  944 door vents in B pillar - Part numbers?

Hi All,

I gave the car a good clean today and pulled out the door vents in the B pillar to get some Waxoil in before the winter sets in. Unfortunately, the plastic lug on the vent snapped off on the drivers side when I removed it :( . Plus I shone a torch in to have a good look round - spot any sill corrosion before it sets in.

Anyway, I've looked through PET but can't seem to find the part number for the vent. Does anyone have the part number?

Also, which way up should they fit. Should the release lug be at the top? (It was facing the top when I removed it but just want to double check this is correct).

Cheers,

Ben :bounce:

Looking at PET for the 91 model (all the same anyway) it is 477 819 179 L & 180 R It is on section 813 Heating & ventilation. Personally I'd put a dab of silicone sealant on it!

Pretty sure the lug is at the top.
