That's Mike Holmes's 944. (The one that's in the Coventry Museum Pic's.) This truely is a great condition 944. I'd buy it if I had the cash.

It looks like he's thinking of getting a 911.

I know your right, i have just finished cleaning it after Saturdays run to Coventry to get all the the road salt off and it looks gorgeous.

But a 911 is on the table, mind you finding a good one is going to be a problem, mind you wanting to sell it and selling it are two different things, ALSO THE 944 DRIVES SO MUCH BETTER , i think its the icon thing

Great to see you back too Mike.

I hope if you do get the 911 you don't start harping on about "air-cooled is best" & "poor mans Porsche", etc, etc.

Have both Mike, I regret selling mine. Such a great drive. So differrent from the 911. What model 911 are you thinking of getting?

I would like a 3.2 Super-sport with the big rear end, but finding one could be tricky, if i had a double garage i would keep the S2 NO DOUBT ABOUT THAT

BUT IF I DON'T GET WHAT I WANT FOR IT ,IT STAYS

Mike - don't do it

But if you do, don't haggle on price. There are lot's of poor cars out there dragging the price down but yours is genuinely one of the best, a cracker in fact so hold out for a good price. You may not sell it straight away, but someone who wants the best will eventually come along disillusioned after looking at lots of poor examples, then they will see yours and fall in love :D

you buy a 911 and I will rib you mercylessly !! all those beetle jokes I have endured! dont do it, you have the nicest 944 I have seen for a very long time, remember we only went for the 911 'cos i totalled the 944 and couldnt bear to replace it with another of the same type. you will regret it.
