The unit is under the drivers wheel arch. Not sure that you'll find any relays in there though. The ecu sits under dash on drivers side above the boot release button and thing relays would be in fuse box.

yeah i got that mate, but was also told that additional relays are on the body of the abs unit!!! so do i have to take the wheel arch cover off to get to it? bit daft that if i do.

You can take the arch liner out and you will see it there. from memory it is held in place by a bracket which you can unbolt from underneath the unit. Or there are 3 10mm nuts to undo 2 at the back and 1 at the front. if you wait till i get home i will have a look at the abs pump i have that i took off and i will see if there are any relays on it. I know there is a black plastic cover you remove to get to the electrical plug, but don't recall seeing any relays. If you can wait till tonight I'll have a look.

Albi, Just had a look. when you get the arch liner out stick your hand over the pipes to the middle/back of pump. you should feel a raised nipple this is an alan key bolt made out of plastic. Undo this and the plastic cover will come off. Under that on the left hand side you have 2 relays. If you need replacements I have a them.
