hi, thought i had a oil leak..but when i traced it it was a petrol leak...how did i confuse myself..as i said in another post..it apeared oil was running down the 4 pipes that are behind the wheel arch cover on the driver side.. when i took the cover of 2 pipes are petrol feed..they are surrounded rubber covers with a steel plate to hold them to the bodywork well i guess over time water damp as got behind the rubber ahd started to rot the pipes...in my case a tiny pin hole..cut the dab out and replaced with flex, petrol pipe, that accounts for the smell of petrol i was getting and could not find...so what i have done now is were the pipes are held on with this type of fixing, i have covered them with waxol so it should at least slow it down to stop it,,
