 Post subject: rear caliper on s2

can this be taken off (slid back) as a whole, so that i can remove the disc to get at my handbrake adjuster? or is it a pad out job prior to removing the caliper?

You may need to push the pads back a fraction to get past any lip but it should unbolt & lift off whole.

Just becareful of the brake pipe as I dont think they are rubber pipe to the caliper.

correct actually, the flexi is down on the arm. Tie the calliper up with some wire to the shock.
