After a long search, i finally have a 951.
Not quite the car i was looking for to start with, but at my budget (£2500) i couldnt be fussy.

The car is a 1986 951. Zermatt silver with full black sport leather. It has some goodies in the form of Authority Chips, Bailey dump valve and Tial DPW. Print outs for RW BHP of 278bhp so about 290bhp at the flywheel. But its currently running 220bhp (which is plenty).

Had a great drive with the kids today. The car perfomed faultlessly and i was reminded how easy it would be to loose my license if im not careful. How can this car be 23 years old?

Ok enough chit chat. Pictures:

Few bits and bobs to get sorted on the car, mostly to get it looking like how i want it. But thats half the fun of Porsche ownership isnt it?

That looks pretty, funnily enough don't do modern cars in silver at all but that looks good.

Well done Rav. Looks even better now then the original pics you sent me. Weekends worth of cleaning has really brought the colour up nicely. Now you can relive that turbo grin factor. Happy Porscheing mate and all best to family

Andy

Thanks for the best wishes guys.
A couple more shots of the interior and the engine for you.

Can anyone tell me what these modifications are? Looks like a Bailey dump valve has been fitted as well as a Dual port wastegate.

Image

Pure laziness now:

1) The rear footwell (behind drivers seat) gets wet after heavy rain. Doesnt appear to run down from the sunroof, is this the sunroof drain tubes? How can i check/rectify?
2) Seems a drain tube is missing from the inside of the petrol filler area. Will not having this cause problems? What can i do to solve this?
3) Under the handbrake is some sort of sensor. I found a wire disconnected from this. I connected it and the (!) in red at the top of the dash stays on.......Any ideas?
4) Anyone got a spare bonnet badge or the tiny key head badge that they want to sell?
5) Anyone got a Car CD player that doesnt light up like the Blackpool illuminations, that they want to sell?
6) Anyone got a Bee sting ariel that they want to sell?
7) Anyone got a set of clear side repeaters?

Thanks
