this has made the engine on my s2 as quiet as a mouse.

this has got my pink porsche looking very cherry red again. i have spent loads on other wax's and polishes but none can hold a light to this.

Did your tappets rattle just on startup when cold, or all the time.?

Mine's a bit tappy from cold but dissapears completly when engine fully warmed up.

Might give it a try.

Been using Bilt Hamber Auto Balm on mine for about a year now. The gloss is great, bit more effort than Meguiars but seems to last longer & despite the car being outside all the time has retained its gloss even with a foot of snow on it over the winter?

It's a credit to the guy that restored it, though I don't think it had done a lot of miles between 2004 and when you bought it.

I have noisy tappets on mt S2 when cold which take a long time to quieten down and after inspection the engineer suggested I replace all the lifters as cyl 3. 4 inlets were loose in the head. Anyway I could not afford the cost so I am currently living with it and have tried numerous grades of oil, and oil treatments including Amtech (which was expensive) all have helped a little but the stuff mentioned here has really worked a treat.

I still have some slight tappet noise on start up but much more in the background and it quietens down almost immediately, so for £6.00 it is my best fix yet.
