Huge thanks to the selfless Tipec member who gave me the lead about a set of Thule roof bars for sale on Ebay. I have won the item at £40.01, and because they're only six miles away I don't have any postage to pay
. If he has no objections I'll name the Tipec member on a later post - he's a credit to the ethics of the club.
Now I can show off my new Specialized Sirrus Sport 2010 in white that my beautiful wife says she is buying me instead of hiding it in the boot.
I don't need them all the time, so if anybody needs to borrow them then just ask... the Thule roof bars that is - not the bike or the wife
