Classic policies are really good value and there are some great deals to be done. They seem to be accepting the modifications without charging silly premiums.

A guy was referred to Hagerty the other week who owned a BMW Z1 and just bought a 911 Speedster. He insured both with them cheaper than he was paying for the Z1.

It's in Winsford, which was / is mainly a huge council estate for the Liverpool overspill . My son-in-law saw a comedian there recently whose opening line was "I went for a walk around the shopping precinct today, you know you're in a shithole when the poshest shop you see is Greggs".

2K is cheap for a tidy '44. Bit expensive for that colour scheme though :lol: Offer 1K & respray it baltic blue?
