I didn't think there were any in this country, but there's on on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PORSCHE-968-944-S ... 286.c0.m14

Big money I think. It will be interesting to see what it sells for.

That’s a perfectly reasonable price, I reckon. About the same as they’re going for in the States at the moment and a it’ll be a lot less hassle to collect or post from High Wycombe!

I’d be interested if it was a grey one, rather than bronze. Looks in good nick. Also looks like he‘s made a good job of replacing the Saratoga Top rear mounts with something from the Porsche catalogue.

I’m sure I remember the guy talking about it on the PCGB forum. I don’t think he’s had it much more than a year or so, if it’s the same guy. If it’s not the same guy, then there’s more than one in the UK after all!

Looks a good price to me actually. I know of at least one other in the UK, that belongs to Mick in my group. He hunted high & low & eventually bought one in from the US. I've followed a few on US E Bay & both have gone for well over $750 + Ship.....

I take it back then, a reasonable price except for those of us without a sunroof.

seems like a good price considering the rarity, did see one about a year ago for £750 IIRC looks in good condition as well

You was watching aswell :D I was tempted but that's 2 thirds the cost of my new exhaust system  And that will make it go faster which a roof wouldn't, tough choice but i'll wait for the next one in 2020

Hell yes. I honestly think you bagged a bargain there, given that it’s been thoroughly refurbished and still cost less in total than shipping one of unknown quality from the States.

If it had been grey instead of bronze I would have been bidding against you.

Well I regularly drive round in my sweltering hot non-aircon S2 thinking how much warmer it would be if I had a glass roof......

I'd probably use the glass one in the winter, but leave the steel one in place for the hot summer months - so you still get to use the glass one for nine months of the year.

I mean the original one, it's steel isn't it? Put it in because with it tilted open it's cooler than a glass one as the 'steel' keeps the cabin in the shade.

Or am I totally wrong
