Hi, Had a service done and since the idling has been low. How do you adjust the idle speed? Paul |

If its a 924 DO NOT ADJUST THE SCREW ON THE END OF THE CABLE ''The idle speed is set by adjusting the idle speed screw, which is a brass screw located in a boss in the front of the throttle body. Do not adjust the throttle stop, which is located on the top of the throttle body, and limits the throttle cam’s return motion. It’s marked with a paint stripe. This is not the proper location to adjust the idle speed; it’s only there to prevent the throttle plate from completely slamming shut against the wall of the throttle body'' |

mine is a 91 s2. ity was running slightly lumpy at 800. i turned it up to just over 900 with the cable adjustment and it tick over sweet ![]() tr7v8 wrote: hot1 t wrote: Hi, Had a service done and since the idling has been low.
