What are the widest wheels that can be fitted onto a early (1983) 944?
is it possible to fit 911 cup3 wheels (10j rear ET47 offset?)

ive seen these fitted on late 944's but does the different offset on the early cars mean its not possible to fit them>?

The offset is about 15mm out (it should be 61mm for a 10" rim; ie inset by 15mm more) and that could be critical with such a wide wheel.
