dont work!!! what am i looking for? when i bought the car (a few weeks ago) it did not work but was hoping it would simply be a wire off (behing the centre push). anyway, i removed the old wheel an dreplaced it with a less "chavish" one. there was only a single black wire behing there, which i presume was an earth. i have tried to earth it out, but no sound. i have checked the fuse which is ok. wher eis the best place to start??? |

See if this post helps. http://forums.tipec.net/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=4309 In my S2 the steering wheel and the steering column both have what looks like copper plates on them that seem to rub together to provide the ground, no wire (Seems odd to me but it works). You say you tried grounding it, so probably not that. Also I think one of the relays in the fuse box is related to the horn. A bunch of them have the same part number, so try swaping it around with a known working one. |
