My 944 s2 has started running rough at tickover, pops on over run to. i did nearly run out of petrol last week so possibly iv got muck in the fuel filter or injectors.
Should i fit a new filter and run some injector cleaner through or could it be something else?

try putting a can of injector treatment in and see if it makes a diff after a few days.

Thanks for the info but the problem was the idle control valve. couldnt afford £130 porsche price so got one of ebay for a tenner and it works fine (at the moment)
