I drive my 944 daily and have no problems until I go on a long journey and experience a clutch judder that can be quite excessive on pulling away.
Has anybody got any ideas please?
Cheers!

probably light contamination, as it is only when warmed up. mine does it sometimes, but only when changing down in to 2nd (i.e. approaching an island or junction)

Mine does it as well when cooking hot & moving slowly such as heavy traffic. I suspect the plate is possibly contaminated, sometimes it leaves residue on the flywheel as well.

Mine also does when it's very hot and in traffic. Sitting in traffic with the clutch pushed in while you're waiting to move makes it worse. To stop it happening always put the car in neutral and release the clutch when you're not moving - it doesn't seem to get as hot.

Reversing when it's hot is even worse.

My S2 does this but only when cold and is fine when warm or hot but suspect some contamination on the plates.

How would you tell if it was contamination, or the rubber center?

if its the rubber centre you get backlash on over-run
