Hi All,

After aquiring my teardrop mirrors, I've hit a bit of a snag. I'm after the door mirror bases from a 968 to retrofit the mirrors onto my 944. I've been supplied with the mirror base part numbers 945.731.241.00 for the passenger side and 945.731.242.00 for the driver side.

Here lies my problem. I've obtained both parts from the OPC in Leeds (worked out the cheapest strangely!). The passenger side 945.731.241.00 has the wrong door base in the box. Its part number is 965.731.241.00 which is for a 993. Porsche have admitted that the problem is on their side but are unsure as to when they'll resolve the problem. (Its been ongoing for 6 weeks now and I want to fit mi mirrors like sometime this year!!!)

Has anyone got a set of 968 mirror bases they wish to sell? Porsche have said they will take the ones I purchased off them back and give me a full refund. If you've got a set in good condition then PM me.
