Well after having my 944 a week I have a bit of an issue with the electric windows.........

when i bought the car the passenger window switch didnt work but the passenger window could still be operated from the drivers side switch.

I removed the passenger window switch to have a look at the actual switch contacts, ive now put the switch back in but now i cant open or close the passneger window with either of the switches (one on pass door or drivers door!)

is this likely to be a problem with the wiring in the passenger door jam?

Possibly & a good test would be to use a known good switch. I'd start from the motor end & check you have power there & then work your way back. Also check the fuses.

Yes it is in Clarkes, go to garage manual, W for windows and there is a complete fault finding guide for window faults plus how to repair switches
