the gear stick surround on my car had 4 holes where previous alarms had been fitted and the led holes had been filled with various grommets, so i won a surround on the bay and decided to fit it this afternoon after a mornings hooning. the new surround came with a blanking plate in the far left hole whereas mine had a blank rocker switch ... or so i thought, on removing surround this rocker switch only had 2 wires from the 6 connected and i was only able to find 2 others !!, along with 2 other alarm leds under cubby area, so i taped other 2 wires up and drilled blanking plate and fitted current alarm led to this, my question is what is/was this rocker for ? it has a 928 prefix to the part number

From recollection mine also has an led in place of the far left switch blank (after market). I have another blank because no central locking. I assume that this switch was for the air con that I don't have. Any other ideas folks?

Aircon switch is beside the heater controls on mine, I've got an aftermarket led in the far left too...
