Be careful with the bits of plastic trim - they'll be brittle and break easily. |

Definately be careful with the circular cover on the heater temperature sensor this needs to ne rotated then removed to get at a screw behind and don't forget the screws at the end of the dash, for which you need to open the passenger door as they are on the very end. I took mine out the other month thinking it had broken but it was only a loose connector and the bulb had gone. |

The long piece of horizontal trim with the clock mounted behind it has two screws that sit behind the heater fascia (as you all already know) … it seems that lots and lots of people through the years haven’t known this and have snapped the screw end of the trim off. I’m always spotting 944s with that trim sitting loose at one end where it’s been broken! |
