When I first bought the cabby, it was a decision of the head over the heart.

I needed a Porsche to attend events that I wasn't going to turn up to in the Speedster. The 944 Cab fitted the bill perfectly, a car I wouldn't be too precious about and although not as entertaining and as agricultural as the 911 a lot of fun with the lid off.

I took her for her test this morning the 4th during my ownership and another pass with an advisory for the front discs that had a slight vibration due to being stood through winter with the pads stuck on. They're nearly cured now.

It just goes to show how well bolted togther they are and if properly maintained are bullet proof. In over 30,000 miles the car has cost nothing other than wear and tear consumables.

Great news Sean. :thumbright: My 944 has passed every M.O.T. it's ever had first time....except the last one. (It being parked up for a year might have something to do with that. :? ) Faded amber bulbs and hand brake issues.

Well it's passed now, insurance also sorted for the the 19th May.....so I'll be back behind the wheel soon. (Can't wait) :bounce:

Thats great! :) Having spent pots on mine I think it's finaly got to the end of it. Apart from a leaky power steering pump. (New one on the way) It's not missed a beat since March. So thats 6 weeks without a problem. Almost. It's in after Mayday for a tidy up ready for Gaydon :bounce:

Good news on the MOT. Mine has passed everytime too but everytime I have the annual servicing done I find something that costs. £638 this week and it only started out as changing the belts and an oil change.
