Does any body know how to treat corrosion on the inside of alloy wheels ? |

A rub down (or sand blast) until the oxidation has gone and then a repaint |

They need etch priming as part of the repaint process. Otherwise the paint wil flake off in a short while. |

Hi. When you've had your wheel/s refurbed, I can recommend Auto Glym Alloy Wheel Seal. You spray this onto the inside of the alloy and it repels dirt and brake dust making them a lot easier to clean. Make sure you take the wheels off before applying. You don't want to get this stuff on your brake discs. Hope this helps. Ben ![]() |
