Does anyone know a good 944 experienced mech in the West London area?

Charles Ivey advertise 944 pricing, not sure of their skills on them these days. Type 911 are in Beckenham/Bromley area & I've heard good things of. Oli has used Tower Porsche & was quite happy although they are more normally known as a early 911 shop.

Personally I'd take a quick trip down the M4 & use Northways. Ray always impressed me with his attention to detail & I've been around motors a long time. Also willing to go the extra mile e.g. finishing mine one night at 6:30 whilst I waited. Probably cheaper because you'll be paying Reading labour rate rather than London ones.

Jaz in Wembley or JZ in Kings Langley. Both experienced and expensive.

If you don't mind a slightly longer journey to get someone who knows the cars inside out then try RPM, they service my car, Auto 2000 or Promax. They are all way cheaper than London garages but only a couple of junctions up the M1.

I'd echo Jim and say Ray Northway. No personal experience here but I understand he was originally a Porsche technician therefore knows the cars inside out.

If distance were no object though I'd suggest Hartech.
