Does anyone know where to find instructions for checking/tightening the camshaft housing. Can't see it in the workshop manuals or seem to find it easily online.

Cheers

It isn't a service item to check but the manual gives 20nm or 15ft/lb as the torque for camhousing to head.

Can I just confirm that it is 20nm for the cover bolts. Just that I just checked the torque on the bolts on the cover on my car and they seem to have been torqued to about 10nm best I can tell. This would probably explain why I have oil seaping out.

Cheers

You dont have a camshaft housing as such on an S2. You have a cylinder head and cover. The torque for the cover is 10Nm. Dont go any tighter as stripping those threads would be a pain.
