Does anyone know on the off chance if you can still get the 944 boot badge from porsche, some numpty has put a turbo one on mine but if I take it off then the paints coming with it as the panel has been painted craply so good weather is needed and the badge.

Hiya (again),

You could try Porsche Shop: -

http://www.porscheshop.co.uk

They do badges etc plus you can get discount with the use of your TIPEC membership card.

Hope this helps,

Ben :bounce:

Probably far cheaper to get it from Porsche and at least you know it will be the corrcet badge. I recently got a new Turbo one for mine and it was £6

To remove the old one, warm the entire area with a hair dryer for a few minutes and then slide some nylon fishing line behind the badge.

I was oiling up the boot latch pins on mine and some of the oil dropped on the badge which caused it to just fall off.

Just aswell really as some muppet had re-attached it to the wrong side of the car.
