Well it's a great time for it. Bodyshops are quiet with the colapse in car prices. New cars are being written off too easily & high excesses are forcing many to drive around with dings in there motors. For a full glass out job with everything striped down & done properly should be no more than 2K now labour + materials. (You may get it for less.) The guy I use paints Astons & Jags for the maindealers. I've taken a DB7 & a DB9 there for work & I can't fault the quality. Mines booked in a week for a proper tidy up
http://forums.tipec.net/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=2838 It's not too far from Porsche apart. You have to remember that if it were an insurance job the amount the bodyshop get paid is the same for an Aston as it is for a Nissen Micra. Too many places get the Porsche price book out when you go for a quote.
