Just bitten the bullet & booked the eco car in to the body shop for a tidy up. New sill (Or part of one) Respayed passenger door, mirror & rear wing thats just starting to rust on the edge were polish has removed the paint. Windscreen out & repair corrosion on A piller. Respray roof & sunroof at the same time. Just about completes my respray. Quote just £500. Thought it would be a lot worse. Should be nice & shiney for Gaydon. Strangly it hasn't given any trouble for weeks.

Was it it's birthday?
Actually, thinking about it maybe this should be in All Torque as a "Stop Press" item :D :D

Includes paint & labour. But the sunroof seals & the paint film I provide. I've known this guy for many years & hes worked on many of my cars. He's just trying not to lay his guys off. So I'm giving it the full monty. It will be in clear coat. He did a great job of the front end last Winter. I was thinking of selling it. Then I talked to some of the guys at work & found many had lost more than I've spent on mine in the last 3 years. Guy with a Subaru lost 8K in 4 years. Unless I get somthing really carp I won't save a penny. It's a bit thirsty compared to many modern motors. But save a bomb on the Insurance. :D Havn't paid for my new windscreen yet. :)
