Folks,

How do I lock the bottom end up to undo the crank bolt? Is it remove the starter and place a block of wood in or is there a pin I can insert somewhere? Book dos'nt seem to mention anything and I dont have access to air tools where the car is at the moment

Two ways of doing it, one is to put a knucklebar & socket on the pulley, lay against the ground or a block of wood & get someone to flick the starter on the key.
The other way is to use the tool from http://www.arnnworx.com which looks like this.
