Almost time to make my mind up which suspension to go for, no dealers seem to be giving any good deals on the KW kit, any recommendations where to buy ?. |

ProMax were doing a deal a while ago. Otherwise it's do a round of the standard suppliers, poss import from the US, but that is less attractive given £=$ ![]() |

Have you tried Stuart at K300 Performance? I know he supplies them but I don't know what his prices are like. |

Go direct. KW are owned by Recaro. Contact Scott at recaro UK up near Coventry. |

Possible group buy opportunity? I'm looking at some used ones at the mo but would be interested if we could negotiate a deal for let's say 3 sets directly with the manufacturer? Anybody else interested? Cheers, Ben |

Cheers, Ben Sounds good, I was offered a used set a while back but it had been on at least 2 cars and had seen a fair bit of trackday use so a new kit made more sense to me. |

I spoke to the KW reps at the Autosport show and they said they don't allow any retailers to sell the kits any less than the RRP, but we might find someone who may offer free fitting or alignment. I also spoke to the GAZ reps and they said they had just put a coil over kit together for post 88 cars and would supply any spring and damper rates I specified, but not being that clued up on what rates to use I couldn't tell them there and then. However they did say if I took my MO30 struts and shocks in they would test them and supply similar stuff. Just a though but I was wondering if anyone had a set of KW's in a box somewhere? |

Seems a strange stance to take, KW's are supposed to be very good but they aren't the most expensive option out there, KW v Gaz I think it depends what you are using the car for, I thought the Gaz stuff was more track orientated, one of the attractions of the KW's for me is they work well on the road, I've had enough of harsh riding suspension. |

Haven't tried them for a price but as they aren't too far from me and I've heard good things about them I will give them a call perhaps. The KW rrp thing is easily overcome by offering a cashback or throwing in some bushes and castor mounts. |

i bought some stuff in from the states, cost me $265 - the equivalent over here was £330... the $265 included a $25 bung to the guy that helped out. This was last month. I cant see how the US isnt an option? |

I cant see how the US isnt an option? I spoke to a supplier in the U.S. and they told me they are required by law to state the value on the package and also all insured parcels are opened by U.K. customs, for $265 I would risk it too, not for $2000 though. |

Agreed that Gaz Gold shocks are for track use and would be much to harsh for road use, but at the show they said that they now make the GHA Kits for the later 944/968 which are more designed for street use. It was the £800 to £900 price tag that attracted me to start with. |
