Hi. I've been reading thorugh the 944 drivers manual and have noticed a reference to a 'vent' switch on the remote control ultrasonic alarm system-1. From what I can gather, it enables you to leave the windows and sunroof open on hot doors whilst deactivating the internal ultrasonic alarm inside the car. The manual mentions about switching the 'vent' switch down. It goes onto say this is located on the centre console switch panel. I am unable to see where this switch is. Can anyone help? Cheers, Ben ![]() |

If you have it (and not many do) then it is normally the furthest left hand switch on the centre console in front of the gearstick. If you don't have it there will be a blanking plate. Remember these systems were installed 20 years ago and many will have been replaced with aftermarket products somewhere down the line |
