Wont it be too wide as the cgt arch's fit the thinner 924 body and make it the same width as the 944 but if you start with the 944 then put extra width arch on top it will be too much ??

the porsche 924 GTR panels are a lot wider than the 944 and cover them totally, and the interior is the same on the pre ovel dashes also has a porsche 2.5 as apposed to the audi,

Um dunno, they look a different shape to the 944 but the eye can decieve with these things.
That Canon car looks stunning though!

From the picture, that looks a wide boy car. No expert but I think the arch should fit and the 2.5 or bigger engine would give it a better grunt.
Go for it :)

hi there all thanks for your replys, yes it is a wide body need quite big spacers, would like to use my porsche 951 to do the replica but afraid the purists will have a go, but I have got a 1982 944 lux which has the right interior, porsche raced this car at Le Man reported to have 370 BHP from the 2lt audi engine, the reason I dont want to use the 924 turbo is the bad lag and not that easy to up the power I70 BHP is about the same as the 944 2.5 also 924 turbo,s blow easily cheers Richard

You can make a 944 GTR or 924 GTP replica using a 951,they both have about the same wide body and also the 2,5 engine.Using the 951 you could also get the power to original spec.
