Hi guys, can anyone help find two final bits for my '89 944 ?
On the face of it they may seem straightforward (as I first thought) but I'm really struggling one year on...
1. A Drivers floor mat in blue with a simple PORSCHE script.
2. A replacement seal for a Saratoga Glass Sunroof.
All help and suggestions welcome.
Thanks....

Isn't the seal for the Saratoga a Golf item? I think the part no. is 321 877 209A. If that is the case, Heritage parts have them in stock. You'll need two as the VW sunroof is smaller than the Saratoga item.

If you find the driver floor mat in blue, grab me a burgundy one while you're in the shop............ :P

Kidding aside, mine is in great nick but the PORSCHE lettering is now unreadable. I believe they were only ever available as a set from Porsche for a seriously high price, but long since NLA. Any mat you find, hens teeth, will be 30 odd years old likely.

However, you just never know! Good luck!

Thanks guys, your replies are most welcome !
I'm afraid that VW sunroof seal goes around the outer edge and the one I require (to replace the damaged one) is adhered to the glass itself and follows the profile on the underside of the glass so it remains unseen. I'll continue to search as I'd really like to fit the glass top before next Spring !

If I happen upon a stash of NOS mat sets in a variety of colours I'll be sure to let you know Stuart !
The irony is that the passenger mat I have is completely original and in very good condition so the drivers mat is most likely out there somewhere....probably in a previous owners junk pile/loft/dog kennel etc !
I gave in recently and bought a new high quality set in a thick pile blue carpet with a heel pad, piping and 944 embroidered in, which look great but also very 'new' in the 35 year old interior.
So, they'll do for the moment while I search for the grail....

Ahh so it’s the velvety/furry one you are after!
If my research is correct, weren’t these made by Pilkington at their Ohio factory? Pilkington still has their automotive replacement glass division, might be worth an email to them.
I have a vested interest in how you get on as I too have a Saratoga glass roof and yet to install it

Dropped you a PM.
