968 non starter

My 968cs in storage has started without fail the last 5 years, until that is I wanted to put it on the road. The dashboard lights up, wipers etc all work, however there’s just a faint click click behind the dash, no attempt from starter to turn over. I’ve checked the battery, cleaned all the earths (excl to engine), checked all fuses & relays, tapped the solenoid/starter. The car has fitted a Cobra 7925 which flashes each time battery is connected and then when ignition key turned (strangely no horn). Ideas as to the failure and fix very welcome as would like to get out in it before the autumn!!
