Hi all & welcome, this is my first post here.
1984 944 example I'm interested in doesn't have rear seat belts.
I read a lot on the subject of swapping the lap belt to a 3-point inertia one, but not much info is available on actually installing them.

The car does have the plastic screw in the C-pillar which is promising. Not sure about the bracket in the boot - probably not there, but can be bought from Porsche and welded in.

My question is about the parts that go over the lap - this car has no holes in side carpet or the centre tunnel, it's leather. Will I find a nut welded in there to screw belts in?

Many thanks
