Cheers. Farting about isn't an option because it's a daily driver car, i haven't got the facilities to remove the gearbox myself. If i had it removed and another built i'd be without a car for weeks. If it lets go totally the car will probably get taken off the road, and any money to fix it will be spent on buying something else. I need something that is a direct swap for the indy.
Nine Apart have one for a very early 2.0 lux, will this physically fit? It's smaller, but the suction and return look similar sized. It's a non-lift pump model with a plate bolted to the bottom of the sump which is missing, but i can fabricate a plate easy enough.
I have to say, the parts support for the 924 is sparse. The front calipers are weeping and nobody does recon calipers! Woolies do seal kits so i can have them rebuilt, and the car will be missing for 4 days which i can handle, but doing the same with a fuel tank will be weeks. Skoda Estelle parts are easier to get than 924.
