the black bits are pieces of the old hardened and degraded insulation, just shake the cable and it all starts falling out

That was a copy of the one you sent me, think I have one off an S2 and that’s about 8 inches longer, the 968 one is about 6 inches shorter

Hi Martin

Please put me down for one but I won't be needing it any time soon given my current engine rebuild. As it stands the block is being removed on Thursday next week to be sent for short motor rebuild, liners, pistons, rings etc, down south. The head is also joining the block on it's journey for a very light skim. Probably estimate it will be October at the earliest when we begin reassembly as the engineering company are pretty busy. So most likely be tail end of the year before the car turns a wheel again.............

I'm not sure what is required for a 90 spec turbo, maybe you can keep me right?

Cheers

Stuart

Hi Stu

I think Simons was a turbo, I made him a high temp covering one, but I copied one he sent me out of the parts box, he has sort of offered it up and says its correct sizing,

there are 5 different cables for the 944/951,

can you possibly measure the one on the car for length, then the distance from alternator terminal to the joint with the connector lead on it,

I can tell you how long the one i made for Simon is....
