Wasnt sure where to put this so if its in the wrong place, please do move it.

I'm part of a groupbuy on this and were hoping to get the numbers up to bring the price down more.

Heres the link to the facebook post, you may need to be in the group to see it, not sure.

1.8t Bellhosuing group buy - LAST CHANCE - for 944/924 etc
This bellhousing allows you to use the following parts to make your conversion cheap and reliable with massive upgrade potential up to and over 1000hp:
240mm clutch - 944 stock unit is 225mm
VW/Audi flywheel - FWD 6 speed (02M)
Mitsubishi clutch disc - Fits the spline, is rated for big power and is much cheaper than Porsche parts
VW/Audi pressure plate - Plenty of options for different power levels
VW/Audi starter motor in OEM Porsche location
VW/Audi clutch release slave cylinder and bearing - Original application has the same diameter master cylinder as the Porsche so perfect compatibility
No modifications to transmission tunnel to make it fit. Simply plug and play and guarantees perfect alignment.
I posted here a couple of months back about this bellhousing group buy. That was before I had the final design or any quotes back. I have now got quotes on the table and looking for a few more people to bring the cost down. There are are 12 people who have put down a deposit so far. If we can get to 15 then the price will be £500 each. if we can get to 22 people the price will be £400
To complete this conversion all of the rest of the parts are off the shelf or basic fabrication. you will need to make engine mounts, modify some bits and bobs and piece together some other parts form the VW/Audi parts bin. If you purchase one of the bellhousings I will provide a complete list of the parts i have used to make this work with the least amount of effort. I am happy to advise on engines and configurations for hp goals also
I have done the conversion using a VW FWD bellhousing and an adapter plate as others have before but my goal of 500hp will be pushing the 225mm clutch pretty hard. There are other bellhousing options on the market but they are expensive and do not have cheap and readily available consumable like my system.
Send me a message if you want to get involved with the group buy and if you have any questions please ask them below so that others can see the answers.
Cheers,
Jack

If anyone is interested but maybe not on facebook, drop me a PM and I can get you some contact details for the guy running it.

Any questions, comment in here and I can get them answered.

Were at 15 currently so £500 a piece. Any more and hopefully can get it down a bit more.
