I’ve done this job on my s2. Watch the you tube video by our German friend- it is very helpful. I bought an engine lifting beam for around £100ish as I recall but also supported the engine from underneath too. Waylander was kind enough to provide moral & tech support and it was a job I did with my son. His long thin fingers were definitely an asset in doing this. Make sure you refit all the heat shields that help to deflect the heat from the mounts as this should help longevity. Mine were missing and I think this contributed to them needing replacement.

I changed the mounts on my 944 S whilst it was on axle stands in the road and used the trolley jack with a large piece of wood under the oil pan to lift the engine slightly once the mounts were loosened... wish it were that easy on the turbo :lol:
