| Post subject: | Aftermarket S2 exhaust tip |
Not long after buying my S2 the tip fell off it and rattled off down the road on its merry way. I managed to purchase an OEM ‘Ornamental exhaust pipe chrome’ specifically for the S2 but on closer inspection there looks to be a metal spacer missing around the point where the tip flares out, and without this spacer the OEM tip can’t slide on. My question is has anyone cut the flared end off their exhaust and fitted an aftermarket clamp-on chrome tip on please? The exhaust is in relatively good condition and I’d rather spend £40 on a chrome tip from ebay / local exhaust specialist than £350 on a DANSK. |
