| Post subject: | What's S2 running gear worth these days |
Hi I have a full set of S2 running gear - engine, engine loom, ECU, gearbox, torque tube, full front and rear suspensions, arms beam, cross member, hubs etc. Only thing missing is calipers, discs, power steering pump and steering rack. Was going to build it into a 1983 944 to make an RS lightweight / CS type car but I've too many projects. I haven't been keeping an eye on the market since I got my own 944 finished so I have no idea what all this is worth these days. Any ideas of value?. A friend here said about 3K euro (I'm in Ireland) |

That seems very reasonable. I recently paid £650 for a gearbox, £250 for an ecu. |

Depends what the head looks like with the cam cover off, and a scope inside the cylinders. |
