Hi Fellow 944 owners, I managed to fix to sunroof cable issue with my car. I noticed when the roof is down the cable would accumulate in the boot area. After inspection I found that the metal tube that allows the cable to slide in and out had snapped. To be precise there is a black joining piece which failed and that’s where the cable was coming out from. Anyway I managed to close the gap by using a piece of aluminium and some clamps. I’m sure it is, thought I’d find a solution at home which was inexpensive, instead of ordering and waiting for the part. I had everything out and wanted to put things back and have it working ASAP. Do you know how much that part costs ? Thanks |
