For those that have not heard the news Hans Mezger the designer of the flat six, the flat 12 in the 917 and the tag F1 engine died yesterday 11th June 2020 at the age of 90, an outstanding engineering genius |

I second that,a true 20th century icon of the automobile industry. I fear that in the rush to demonise the internal combustion engine these brilliant engineers will not get the recognition they deserve from future generations absorbed with their electric cars. |
